This iconic lighter is both functional and collectible and is a collaboration between Playboy and Zippo. The lighter is reusable, durable, and comes with the distinct “click” and recognizable Brushed Chrome finish. The August 1978 cover featured Nicki Thomas, who was the March 1977 Playmate.
Fun fact: The man wearing the crisp white pants on the cover was Bill Drendel, a stylist in the Photo Department. This issue played to the fantasy of a raunchy office tryst and ran a pictorial of “sexy secretaries you wish you worked with.”
